As a person who lives only 19 Kilometers from the Epicenter of the 7.6 能登半島地震, Noto Peninsula Earthquake, which occurred on January 1st, 2024, and I was at home when it hit. I feel I need to say something on this, especially seeing so many people making videos online about this subject. As a survivor of just this kind of disaster, I have to write something about it. I just can’t keep silent.
Earthquakes can happen at any time and anywhere in Japan. My wife originally told me about this prophecy earlier this year. On July 5th, 2025, a massive natural disaster will hit Japan. My wife told me it was a Tsunami that would be over 100 meters. The original prophecy was made by Tatsuki Ryo from Kanagawa Prefecture. Tatsuki has denied this. That’s all I know about it, if you know more or are interested in it, that’s fine.
Although I practice Jyotish and believe that predictions can be made about the likelihood of certain events occurring through specific celestial conjunctions. I don’t believe in Prophecies that are predicted will happen any exact date at the exact time. That type of prediction is extremely difficult to be accurate with. Now that that is over with, whether it’s Tokara Shima, Nanki Trough, the Hokkaido Sanriku Oki, or Sagami Trough, or anywhere else in Japan, what is true about this is a massive Earthquake and tsunami will happen sometime and somewhere in the near future in Japan. Whether it’s tomorrow, this year, or five years or ten years from now, it will happen.
Even if July 5th comes and goes without anything happening, the real point is that it serves as a warning. It’s a question really worth asking: Are you prepared for a disaster? Do you know what to do during a major or massive Earthquake? Do you know what to do right after the ground stops shaking? Do you know what to do if you live near the coast? Do you even know what this word means, 避難所? Do you know where an evacuation shelter is located and how to get there, especially after an Earthquake? What will you do when there’s no electricity and you need to stay cool in 30 to 35 degrees of heat and humidity, especially in the summer? How will you stay warm if it’s 5 degrees or -5 degrees in the winter? What will you do about food and water?
These are just a few questions to keep in mind when preparing for an Earthquake.
In the future, a major or massive Earthquake will occur in Japan. Eventually, it will happen in a large populated area. I have been through this. Is the Japanese government prepared for a major or massive Earthquake in a populated area that will involve mass tourism? Does this government have any contingency plans to help tourists find shelters, or is there limited space only for locals? Does it have any plans for bathrooms because there is no running water, there is no water to drink, there is limited food, how is the Japanese government going to help them stay cool in the summer when there is no electricity or air conditioning and its 35 degrees outside with high humidity or keeping people warm in the middle of winter? How will they get to safety? Does the Japanese government even have a plan to keep everyone, including tourists, safe during just such a natural disaster?
As a person who has survived this and gained firsthand experience with a major Earthquake. To me, this is not a prophecy but a warning and wake up call for the Japanese government to be prepared, make contingency plans NOW, and have the ability to put them into place quickly after a disaster occurs. The Japanese government needs to take their heads out of the profits from mass tourism and really ask themselves if mass tourism is a good idea to continue in a country with major and massive Earthquakes like Japan?
If the Japanese government does nothing and just waits for this to happen, it will come back to haunt them later when it does occur. Because unless you have been through and experienced a major Earthquake or a similar disaster, as they say in Japanese理解できない, it’s an event that is impossible to understand for those who have never been through it.
